Suspended ceiling panels
the technical properties of gypsum-based suspended ceiling panels are similar to those of gypsum
plaster boards; sound absorption is feasible only with perforation, and the vapour resistance of these panels is very limited.
Soft-fibre suspended ceiling
Soft-fibre suspended ceiling panels are made of fiberglass or rockwool. Their loose structure and light weight is often an advantage for their utilisation, and provides for excellent sound absorption.
Mineral fibre suspended ceiling
The mineral-fibre suspended ceiling is the most widespread variant. Its main components are mineral wool, natural starch, perlite and clay. The components and the manufacturing technology ensure high acoustic absorption and soundproofing. Their surface is painted or perforated, sometimes laminated.
Metal suspended ceiling
Metal suspended ceilings offer a nice solution for users planning for the long term and looking for high quality. Proper acoustic features can be ensured by using perforation and/or acoustic textile and mineral wool inlays. With adequate maintenance, the useful life of these panels can be expected to be 20-30 years, as opposed to the 5-15 years of other suspended ceiling types. With adequate engineering systems, they can also be used as heating/cooling suspended ceilings.
Wooden suspended ceiling
Suspended ceilings made of wood are most exquisite, as it is difficult to reproduce the natural appearance, comfort and elegance of wood by any other material. Here again proper acoustics is ensured by perforation or a sandwich stucture. The carrier material is treated with fire retardant, coated with synthetic resin laminate or genuine wood veneer.
Suspended ceilings provide for special design and elegance as well as a healthy and comfortable living environment in any type of space.
